3rd August Club Melee 1st Neil, 2nd Martin, 3rd Roy

Again 3 players won all 3 games so points difference was crucial and Neil had +33. New club record. Only 10 people so there were four pairs and some people played singles which was different.

25th July Club Melee 1st Martin, 2nd Chris, 3rd Paul M

There were only 3 players who won every game and they're listed above. Significantly in the history of these events 2 players lost a game 13-0 which will be commemorated when we've worked out how. Great day. 16 players - our biggest turnout yet. Martin won 3 with a points difference of +29. New Club record. Barbara made it to 4th place.

6th July Club Melee 1st Malcolm, 2nd Chris, 3rd = Roy and Richard M

It could all have been so different. In the last game Paul and Rosanna had one boule to win the game at 10-12 with 2 on the floor but it didn't make it. The game went to 12-12 and the same couple had 5 boules in hand to dislodge the winner but couldn't make it. .

27th June Club Mixed Pairs 1st Paul M & Gordon, 2nd Richard S & Sue, 3rd Rosanna & Mike.

After 3 rounds it was perfectly level between the two top sides so a 6 end final was played with the game not decided until the final boule of the 6th end.12 players. Lovely sunny day. School Fayre going on at the same time.

8th June Club Melee 1st Malcolm with 3 wins and a healthy +20 points difference, 2nd Paul M, 3rd Chris, 4th Richard M, 5th Gavin

Nice to see some new names in the frame. Report from Chairman says conditions overcast and drizzle so a bit wet!

23rd May Club Melee 1st Paul M, 2nd Roy, 3rd Neill, 4th Richard M, 5th Sue

A good turnout of 12 and a lovely sunny day. An epic final match when Paul S & Sue had a chance to beat Neill & Richard S for a top result but lost out 11-13.

4th May Club Melee 1st Roy, 2nd Paul M, 3rd Paul S

It was cold and it was the first of the season but a few people braved the chilly winds of Headingley. Because of the low numbers the random draw element meant that there wasn't much variation. Let's hope for more at the next event.
