Leeds Petanque Club |
| Home | A Brief
History Leeds Petanque Club came into being at Easter 2006 after extensive work by our first Chairman Nigel Clay. Richmond House School kindly gave us use of part of their car park on their sports field and club members constructed the terrain themselves opening for business in May 2006. It has a 4 piste terrain plus free car parking, a shared clubhouse with Bowls & Cricket teams and since the early days has recruited over 60 members and maintains a membership of between 20 and 30 players. We have informal play every Tuesday (Summer) and Sunday; Club competitions twice a month; our team plays in the York League on Thursdays and some club members attend regional events and have qualified to represent the Northern region. |
